Registration of the picnic concert in Nijmegen at the open-air theatre De Goffert on September 1, 2002, performed by fellow townsman and -woman originating from all over the world:
- ®chestra and Die Vier (Groesbeek);
- soloists Mile Lukić (Sarajevo), Mola Sylla (Dakar) and Mokhtar Sheikh Mohamed (Tunis);
- a choir put together for the occasion and consisting of the KION Choir (Nijmegen), Ensemble Blos (Overasselt), Ongehoord Gezelschap (Wijchen) and individual singing talents from all the four winds.
Windstreken is produced by Circus Colourful City.
The tracks on this cd are arranged by Johnny Rahaket from songs of the Kei Islands, North and West Africa, Central Europe, hits from Die Vier and Mile Lukić, a string quartet by Franz Schubert and improvisations by Mola Sylla. The renaissance version of Grens is arranged by Gerie Daanen.
