On this cd, ®chestra offers a musical shelter to the displaced memories of Majid Arab, Mile Lukić, Hodjat Mahmoodi, Mohadin Molly, Najim Nekzad and Oulfa Rouached. They sing their dearest songs on the pretext:

"Allthough I may not happen to speak your language, it shouldn't remain unsaid".

®chestra is assisted instrumentally by Mohadin Molly on saz and by Françien Schatborn on viola.

Weeshuis is an initiative by the WHAA Foundation. The proceeds of this cd are intended for the development and implementation of new projects.

The songs on this cd have their roots in Afghanistan, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iran, Kurdistan and former Yugoslavia:

"®chestra in itself is already a very strong ensemble. The addition of the New Dutchies here makes it yet stronger, with the tunes not played in rigid obedience of the original as though being sheet music. No, it comes directly from the heart and carries with it both East and West, a perfect mix just like we dream our society should be."
